It has been a busy week this week. I’ve been trying to get back into the swing of things, and have been playing catch up with work since I missed three days last week. So far I’ve been able to exceed what I actually thought I’d accomplish, plus I’ve somehow managed to start working out again and it seems to be helping me deal with things.
I’m still finding it difficult to spend any longer periods of time alone, and the last two afternoons that Marcel has worked, I’ve been able to go see Alice in Wonderland with Bobbi (which I really enjoyed) and this evening made a last minute road trip to Starbucks with Desere. We did stop in at the “Bij” (My name for this particular store that I love) where I browsed the new Sabo collection for spring. When I told Marcel I’d found some new charms and a few new things, he said that it looks like someone better find another job. He obviously didn’t mean me. I didn’t buy anything for myself though, but it felt good to get out.
Tomorrow is Friday and I’m glad. I’m planning on spending some time this weekend cleaning, but other than that, I don’t have much planned. It’s going to be a relax weekend around here. I do think I’m going to attempt the taxes, but aside from that, not much. Oh, I’m going to attempt a new muffin recipe, but I’ll have to get back to y’all on how that turns out. It could be interesting.
